Maintains an organized and safe working environment. **Job: Yard Assistant** **Description:** Responsible for assisting in the operation of the filter press and supporting routines at the WTP, monitoring the filtration process, checking consumables, supporting solid waste disposal, and performing cleaning and organization of areas and equipment to ensure proper functioning of the treatment system and guarantee safe and efficient operations. **Responsibilities:** * Assist, as required, in the operation of the filter press, ensuring correct process operation according to established technical parameters, thereby contributing to the treatment system’s efficiency. * Monitor the performance of the filter press and auxiliary systems, observing any anomalies or failures to ensure uninterrupted filtration and prevent unplanned shutdowns; escalate corrective maintenance requests to the responsible team, when necessary, to maintain operational safety and process efficiency. * Verify, as required, consumables used in the filtration process, monitoring chemical and other material inventory levels to ensure continuous and effective treatment operations. * Assist in the disposal of solid waste generated during filtration, monitoring accumulated volumes and ensuring compliance with environmental and operational regulations. * Perform cleaning of waste disposal areas and the filter press, as needed, using appropriate tools and consumables per technical guidance, to keep equipment free of residues and in optimal operating condition. * Ensure workplace and WTP equipment organization and cleanliness after each procedure, maintaining a clean, properly marked, and hazard-free area to support a safe and productive environment. **Requirements:** Completed Elementary School
