Onshore and offshore commissioning activities **JOB DESCRIPTION** ------------------- * To perform commissioning of equipment, systems (marine & topside) for repair / new build / conversion vessels. * Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are complied with, as defined in the safety and health manual and ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained always at site. * Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements. * Promote safe working procedures to prevent incidents. * Follow instructions from his superiors and carry out tasks in a safe and productive manner. * Assist the Foremen in supervising the workforce. * Ensure time keeping and discipline of his workers reporting to him. * Deploy and utilize manpower effectively. * Read all relevant drawings and procedures for the commissioning work; preparation of MC and PC check sheets. * Assist equipment inspection and mechanical completion (MC); coordinate MC inspection with client rep/owner reps/classification surveyor and obtain approval. 1- Coordinate and monitor the progress of commissioning work and report to superiors and project team. 1- Carry out commissioning activities and system running / performance tests, and hand over the system to the operations team. 1- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** -------------------- Required Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields; Availability for long-term international travel; Experience in onshore and offshore commissioning activities for system start-up (PAGA/CCTV/LTE TRANSMISSION/RADIO COMMUNICATIONS/STRUCTURED CABLING - Electrical & Optical); Plan, supervise, and control system development across all project commissioning phases; Prepare pre-commissioning and operational test reports and schedules for systems and subsystems; Supervise and guide the team during system and subsystem testing; Manage resources, costs, and timelines for commissioning activities; Interface with VENDORS for system support and technical assistance; Interface with the Client for system approval and handover. Act as an interface between staff and management; Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
