Operate grinders, oxy-fuel torches or plasma cutters and interpret technical drawings **Job Description: Welder (Heavy Maintenance) Position Summary** The professional will be responsible for performing welding and cutting operations on heavy metal structures, with a primary focus on the recovery, reinforcement, and refurbishment of large-capacity dump bodies (18 m³) and logistics/environmental equipment. The objective is to ensure structural integrity and asset durability. **Responsibilities and Duties** * **Technical Welding:** Perform **MIG/MAG and Shielded Metal Arc Welding** processes in various positions. * **Structural Repairs:** Conduct maintenance on chassis, metal structures, and components of heavy equipment. * **Dump Body Refurbishment:** Directly perform recovery of 18 m³ dump bodies, including plate replacement, patching, reinforcement, and sealing welds. * **Cutting and Preparation:** Use grinders, oxy-fuel torches or plasma cutters for surface preparation, beveling, and removal of damaged parts. * **Drawing Interpretation:** Interpret simple technical drawings and work orders to execute repairs. * **Safety:** Ensure mandatory use of PPE and maintain workstation organization, complying with sector safety standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Experience:** Proven experience as a welder in industrial environments, metallurgical plants, or heavy maintenance workshops. * **Process Proficiency:** Demonstrated hands-on experience with **MIG and Shielded Metal Arc Welding**. * **Preferred Qualification:** Knowledge of road vehicle implement or waste/mining dump body refurbishment. * **Profile:** Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to perform physical work on large-scale structures. **Compensation Package** * **Base Salary:** R$ 3\.100,00\. * **Meal Allowance:** R$ 500,00\. * **Transportation Allowance:** R$ 350,00\. * **Gross Total:** **R$ 3\.950,00\.** Benefits * **Meal Voucher:** R$ 28,00/day. * **Fuel Allowance:** Up to R$ 500,00 (proportional to distance). * **Healthcare:** Health and Dental Plans (Unimed). * **Security:** Life Insurance. * **Incentives:** Basic Food Basket (Attendance Bonus) Payment: R$3\.500,00 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Fuel allowance * Basic food basket * Free parking * Life insurance * Meal voucher * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance Selection Question(s): * Have you worked as a welder before?
