Job Description The Procurement Analyst is responsible for end-to-end management of procurement processes for materials and services critical to sustaining the company’s operational continuity. While the role focuses on the categories listed below, responsibilities are not limited to them: industrial and mine maintenance; agricultural and forestry inputs; and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) materials and components. Although this is a mid-level position, its scope covers categories with significant impact on asset availability, operational performance, supply chain sustainability, and production process reliability. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the full procurement cycle (strategic sourcing), from demand analysis through negotiation and contracting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and technical requirements; * Strategically engage in categories including mechanical, electrical, and automation maintenance; MRO; industrial services; forestry/agricultural inputs; and OEM equipment spare parts; * Interact directly with maintenance, PCM, engineering, operations, agricultural planning, and critical suppliers to anticipate demand, mitigate risks, and ensure material availability; * Conduct market analyses, benchmarking, technical-commercial evaluations, and risk mapping—considering price volatility, production capacity, and service lead times; * Manage quotation processes, RFPs, and complex negotiations to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), service levels, and competitive commercial terms; * Manage supply contracts and agreements, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, delivery timelines, warranties, and operational safety requirements; * Develop and monitor supplier performance indicators, identifying opportunities for development, innovation, and continuous improvement; * Perform data analysis, consumption forecasting, and management reporting to support strategic decision-making and budget planning; * Promote governance, sustainability, and integrity across the supply chain, aligned with widely adopted standards in mining, oil & gas, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Qualifications **The profile we seek for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, or related fields. * Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management—preferably within industrial sectors (mining, steelmaking, oil & gas, manufacturing, energy, or agribusiness); * Ability to interpret technical specifications, diagrams, bills of materials, and operational requirements; * Experience with ERPs (SAP preferred) and procurement tools; * Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities; * Advanced English proficiency (required).
