Ensure proper functioning of the forklift **Job Posting Title** Forklift Operator**Job Description Summary** Perform all necessary internal material handling using forklifts to support the Production and Logistics departments, delivering part bins and supplying raw materials for production.**Job Description:** * Move parts produced in primary operations by handling bins with a forklift, directing them to the next operation. * Weigh produced items by moving bins with the forklift to the scale, aiming to control the quantity of parts produced. * Handle and feed bins for secondary operations using the forklift to meet production flow requirements. * Collect factory waste and scrap, delivering them to pre-defined locations by moving carts with the forklift to maintain organization, cleanliness, and scrap weight control. * Feed silos by moving bins with the forklift equipped with a rotary device to supply machines lacking monorail systems. * Report forklift irregularities to ensure optimal performance, following checklists and system-provided worksheets to keep equipment fully operational. * Load and unload materials using the forklift to meet production and shipping requirements. * Load and unload raw materials with assistance from overhead crane operations. * Move part or raw material bins as required by production needs using the forklift to support the production flow. * Daily verification of 3,000 kg scales using standard weights to ensure accurate weighing. **Required Skills and Education** * Forklift Operator certification; **About AAM:** As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
