Job Summary: A sewing professional responsible for closing garment pieces, adjusting machines, ensuring alignment and internal finishing of uniforms, as well as applying details and performing basic maintenance. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * **Garment Closing:** Perform side, shoulder, and sleeve closing using industrial overlock machines. Technical Responsibilities * **Machine Adjustment:** Adjust stitch length and knife position on the overlock machine according to fabric thickness and type (knit or woven). * **Alignment Verification:** Ensure fabric parts (front and back) are perfectly aligned during closing. * **Basic Maintenance:** Regularly clean the fabric waste reservoir and lubricate the machine. * **Productivity:** Maintain smooth workflow on the production line, preventing bottlenecks between cutting and finalization stages. * **Internal Finishing:** Ensure that the overlock edging (edge finishing) is uniform and has correct thread tension to prevent fraying. * **Detail Application:** Sew collars, cuffs, or elastic bands, depending on the uniform model. * **Seam Cleaning:** Simultaneously cut excess thread and fabric burrs during sewing.
