Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with suppliers, always aiming for optimal cost-effectiveness. Monitor market trends to forecast purchasing needs and adapt product assortment in line with consumer demand. Control and maintain appropriate inventory levels, avoiding both excesses and stockouts. Analyze sales reports and inventory metrics to execute scheduled purchases and adjust merchandise flow. Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of purchased items. Identify new suppliers, prioritizing quality and competitive pricing. Evaluate and foster long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure sound commercial partnerships. Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, punctuality, and cost. Track market trends, shifts in consumer habits, and changes in purchasing behavior to proactively adjust procurement strategies. Conduct price and competitive benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness. Position based in Londrina / PR. Previous experience as a Procurement Analyst, Supply Chain Specialist, Procurement Agent, or Procurement Coordinator may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this role. Bachelor's degree required.
