**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Participate in Daily Safety Dialogue (DDS) meetings;
* Perform tasks according to instructions and service priorities set by your immediate supervisor, properly using uniforms and required personal protective equipment (PPE), complying with regulations, procedures, occupational safety & health, environmental, quality, and social responsibility standards;
* Interact with other maintenance professionals and exchange information regarding tasks to be performed, as per received instructions and scheduling;
* Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all equipment, machinery, facilities, tools, instruments, and accessories used in performing your duties, executing minor repairs and cleaning the work area;
* Complete the daily operations report, summarizing all activities performed, general conditions of your equipment and work area, and reporting any abnormalities for appropriate action;
* Complete work orders, accurately recording hours worked, waiting times, and detailed descriptions of services performed, to effectively document and maintain equipment maintenance history;
* Maintain up-to-date control of equipment released for operation and equipment under maintenance during your shift, when requested;
* Participate in shift handover meetings, verifying pending tasks and acting according to the instructions of your immediate supervisor to expedite or minimize production stoppages;
* Identify abnormalities and defects (inspection backlog) that may be scheduled across the asset’s full operational cycle, report them, and forward to planning;
* Perform lockout and unlock procedures on assets, according to the lockout matrix, to conduct maintenance and reintegrate assets into production;
* Read and interpret electrical diagrams;
* Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Underground Mine electrical systems (pumping, ventilation, exhaust, and electrical substations);
* Diagnose and correct frequency inverters, soft-starters, circuit breakers, microprocessor relays, and electric motors;
* Perform activities inherent to mine infrastructure routines, including laying electrical cables, installing electrical panels, substations, electrocenters, lighting circuits, and radio leaky feeder systems (installation and maintenance);
* Support commissioning of substations and pumping stations;
* Experience with frequency drives, especially models from WEG, Allen Bradley, and Schneider;
* Knowledge of Schneider/SEL protective relays and arc detection;
* Basic knowledge of installation, configuration, maintenance, and diagnostics of Rockwell Automation PLCs (ControlLogix and MicroLogix families), ladder logic programming.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed technical education in Electro-Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electromechanics;
* Knowledge of electrical circuits and diagrams;
* Basic knowledge of industrial communication networks and PLCs;
* Knowledge of underground mine electrical maintenance activities and availability to work rotating shifts;
* Driver’s License Class "B";
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance activities.
