Job Summary:
Professional responsible for managing the hospital linen flow, from receipt and inspection to distribution and organization, ensuring hygiene and asset control.

Receive linens from external laundries and inspect items according to the descriptive list;
Control and store linens in an organized manner, classified by type, usage, and hospital unit;
Distribute private-use garments to clinical and support teams according to requests and internal controls;
Inspect clean items received, identifying those requiring reprocessing, sewing, or asset removal;
Package clean items not included by the laundry in kits, ensuring their integrity and organization;
Prepare and organize the transport cart with clean linens according to defined routes and schedules;
Make beds for patients in special situations (e.g., bedridden or in isolation), notifying the clinical team as per protocol;
Deliver towels to clinical units, performing required registrations and controls;
Organize linen storage shelves, sorting items by type, size, function, and destination unit;
Deliver surgical linens to the Central Material and Sterilization Department (CME), adhering to established workflows and schedules;
Ensure proper delivery protocols for linens, especially to clinical and surgical units;
Perform concurrent cleaning and organization of the clean area in the linen room (shelves, tables, and carts);
Maintain the linen room environment clean, organized, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards;
Support quarterly linen inventories, contributing to accurate asset control;
Collaborate on other duties relevant to the role, as directed by supervision; Completed high school education; Experience in the role; Experience in the hospital sector; Familiarity with hospital routines and linen workflows; Basic knowledge of inventory control and material traceability; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Proactivity, attendance, punctuality, empathy, organization, and teamwork.
