And of course, we are always looking for talented people to help us have a positive impact on our industry and beyond! **About the Position:** The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining natural gas and biomass boilers, compressed air systems, potable water systems, effluent treatment plants, reverse osmosis units, refrigeration systems, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring full compliance with applicable internal and external standards for utility operations. **Key Responsibilities Include:** * Professional responsible for operation and maintenance of utility systems (steam, compressed air, water/effluent, and industrial refrigeration), in accordance with technical standards and regulatory requirements. * Meet maintenance plan targets within established deadlines. * Propose improvements focused on safety, environmental performance, and productivity. * Participate in root cause analysis activities. * Accurately open and close work orders, correctly recording hours worked and tasks performed. * Ensure proper care and correct use of tools under their responsibility. * Comply with good manufacturing and maintenance practices. * Stay updated on utilized technologies, supporting continuous improvement of the utilities department. * Operate utility systems and meet electromechanical demands of the department, acting proactively and strategically to ensure optimal equipment performance. * Demonstrate commitment to the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System. **Qualifications:** **Education:** Completed high school; Technical courses in electromechanics. **Knowledge:** Knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance of industrial machinery Desirable knowledge of automation At Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity \& Inclusion.
