Comply with safety and quality policies, maintaining a safe work environment **Purpose and Impact of the Role** ---------------------------------- The Logistics Operator will handle general inbound and outbound shipments appropriately using an understanding of warehouse processes and procedures, working under regular supervision. In this role, you will complete activities related to receiving and documenting shipments and receipt of goods, and ensure documentation and recordkeeping are accurate. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation, enter information into computerized systems, and resolve discrepancies or issues as needed, working with knowledge of processes and procedures. Perform cycle counts. Chock trucks and assist in loading and unloading vehicles. Operate mobile equipment. Interact with peers and supervision to continuously improve facility operations, related responsibilities, and knowledge, with authority to make minor changes as defined by supervision. Comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** ------------------ * High school diploma; Driver's License Category B * Basic computer skills (Office suite), including Excel; * Experience operating forklifts * Availability to work rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts), including weekends.
