Handling tax inspections and audits Job Description We are expanding and looking for a Tax Analyst to join our team. The professional will be responsible for calculating and filing direct and indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with current legislation. Main Responsibilities: Calculation and filing of taxes such as PIS, COFINS, ICMS, and ISS, including their ancillary obligations. Knowledge of and ability to perform fiscal bookkeeping and issuance of fiscal invoices. Monitoring of tax legislation to ensure compliance and identify tax optimization opportunities. Handling tax inspections and audits by providing required documentation and relevant clarifications. Participation in analyzing and improving the company's tax procedures. Collaborative work with the team to ensure accuracy of information and adherence to established deadlines. Requirements: Prior experience in tax departments of companies or accounting firms. Knowledge of calculation and filing of taxes such as PIS, COFINS, ICMS, and ISS, as well as their ancillary obligations. Familiarity with current tax legislation and ability to stay updated on changes in the field. Ability to work collaboratively and strong interpersonal skills. Proactivity, organization, and attention to detail. Commitment to deadlines and quality in task delivery.
