Surveying Assistant

Job Summary: Assist in performing surveying, leveling, marking, construction of survey markers, and installation of stakes, as well as support site signage. Key Highlights: 1. Support in workplace organization and safety Required Qualifications: * High school diploma preferred; * Experience: * No proof of experience in the field required. * Read measurements from markers. * Assist in performing surveying services and leveling and marking tasks. * \- Operate the prism and/or other necessary equipment. * \- Construct and install survey markers and stakes. * \- Load and unload equipment. * \- Perform markings and record data upon request from immediate supervisor. * \- Support the site signage process. * \- Assist in risk analysis preparation. * \- Organize the workplace and assist in organizing other company departments. * \- Participate in Daily Safety Dialogues at the start of the shift and/or training related to construction phases, becoming familiar with work-related hazards and conditions, correct use of PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE). * \- Be aware of all tasks scheduled for the day and/or week to prevent accidents and unsafe conditions. * \- Monitor surface marker surveys. * \- Assist in monitoring water levels. * \- Monitor the seismograph. * \- Control excavation volume. * \- Support seismic activity controls and monitoring. * 2 \- Regularly operate vehicles in accordance with safety criteria, SGI standards, and client specifications. * \- Comply with FONNTES GEOTÉCNICA’s Quality Policy. * \- Follow instructions from the immediate supervisor. * \- Attend meetings when requested. * \- Perform related duties.
