Learn more about our brand at: dex.co **Responsibilities and Duties** * Identify the root cause of equipment stoppages or malfunctions and perform low- and medium-complexity tasks in preventive and corrective maintenance to resolve issues or optimize equipment performance in silviculture and harvesting operations, carrying out mechanical maintenance tasks safely and with quality to meet company-established parameters, policies, standards, and procedures; * Diagnose failures, conduct tests and inspections, and perform low- and medium-complexity repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components; * Perform low- and medium-complexity tasks using oxy-cutting and welding equipment; * Perform low- and medium-complexity tasks using drills, sanders, grinders, and polishing machines; * Interpret technical manuals, specifications, and drawings; * Complete daily reports and checklists; * Operate mobile field workshops and light vehicles using defensive driving techniques; * Communicate via radio with production area equipment; * Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules; * Act as a firefighter in forest fires whenever necessary and authorized by management; operate light vehicles when licensed; * Perform maintenance on cutting assemblies used in wood processing equipment and regulate consumption of these materials. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education; * Driver’s license category B — Category D preferred; * Experience in this role and/or related fields; * Must reside in Nova Ponte/MG. **Additional Information** Aligned with our organizational culture, we **care for life wherever it is**.
