Job Summary: Pharmacist responsible for medication dispensing, blood pressure measurement, glucose testing, injectable administration, and product control, ensuring quality and ethics. Medication control and organization, ensuring service quality. **Job Description:** ---------------------- Job description: Pharmacist. Job responsibilities: · Serve customers at the pharmacy counter for medication dispensing, advising them on proper medication use; · Accommodate customer requests for blood pressure measurement using appropriate equipment in a designated area; · Perform glucose tests on customers per specifications outlined in relevant documentation, including finger-prick blood collection, placement of blood sample into the designated glucometer, site antisepsis, and recording results on the specified test card; · Administer injectables to customers per physician prescription; · Monitor the entire disinfection process of the injectables room, verifying daily completion of the cleaning control checklist and archiving it appropriately to meet regulatory inspection requirements; · Oversee the collection of sharps waste by the contracted service provider, maintaining proper archival records of collection logs for regulatory inspections upon request; · Ensure all necessary supplies for injectable administration or glucose testing (e.g., gloves, 70% alcohol, antiseptic soap, paper towels) are available during respective tasks, retaining supporting documentation for regulatory inspections; · Maintain proper storage conditions and monitor expiration dates of controlled substances and antibiotics in-store to ensure service quality; · Ensure the controlled-substance cabinet remains securely locked at all times and safeguard its key; · Enter all prescriptions from the previous day into the system daily and submit reports on movements of controlled substances and antibiotics; · Correct reports returned with errors from the National Controlled Products Management System (SNGPC) and resubmit them; · Conduct monthly physical inventory counts of controlled substances and maintain up-to-date cabinet records; · Keep the workplace clean and organized, maintaining tools and materials provided for task execution; · Perform duties with quality, ethics, and responsibility while maintaining confidentiality regarding company-related matters; · Carry out other related duties as assigned by the manager/immediate supervisor.
