Job Summary: A Sheet Metal Assembler I is responsible for using light boilermaking tools, reading and laying out drawings, and possessing knowledge of metals used in thermal insulation. As a **Sheet Metal Assembler I**, your **main responsibilities** include: · Basic use of light boilermaking tools (shears, simple bending machines, manual guillotine, drill, sander, rolling machine). · Basic reading of drawings and sketches. · Basic understanding of material calculation. · Basic knowledge of metals used in thermal insulation (aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel). · Layout and development of flat surfaces (cones, curves, reducers, Ts, caps). · Cutting, bending, forming, and assembly techniques for thin sheets. We expect the following **qualifications**: · Minimum completed high school education plus professional qualification courses in the field (boilermaking and electric welding). · Experience working in sheet metal fabrication. We expect the following **competencies**: · Knowledge of maintenance routines in thermal insulation processes. · Familiarity with job-specific tools (shears, edge rollers, bending machines, portable drills, etc.). · Basic mathematics knowledge (area/perimeter calculations for part cutting). · Basic computer literacy.
