Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating the cash register, registering merchandise, managing cash flow, serving customers, and organizing the workplace. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cashier operations and merchandise registration 2. Customer service and guidance 3. Merchandise and environment organization and control * Perform cash register opening and closing procedures; * Register merchandise using barcode scanners; * Record sales amounts and payment methods, verifying cash received, checks, receipts, and other documents; * Operate cash register terminals, associated systems, and credit/debit card machines, and release merchandise to customers; * Complete standard forms detailing incoming funds, including cash, checks, cards, withdrawals, and other relevant notes; * Issue fiscal invoices to customers; * Monitor and control cash flow; * Carry out cash register closing procedures; * Serve customers by assisting and guiding them with empathy, courtesy, efficiency, and commitment; * Regularly maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and work equipment; * Provide priority service to pregnant women, elderly individuals, and people with physical disabilities; * Organize and verify pricing labels on merchandise and perishable items displayed at checkout gondolas; * Assist in maintaining and organizing food and perishable items; * Daily check expiration dates of perishable items displayed at checkout gondolas; * Support store organization as needed, collecting shopping carts and baskets used by customers; * Provide daily support for company activities and routines, consistently contributing to maintaining work quality and workplace standards. **Benefits** * Dental insurance * Meal allowance * Attendance bonus Employment type: Direct hire (CLT) Salary: Starting from R$1.620,63 per month
