Description

Job Summary: Responsible for planning and monitoring transportation, scheduling assignments, issuing documentation, communicating with customers, and instructing drivers to optimize logistics operations. Communication with drivers, shippers, and customers RESPONSIBILITIES: * Schedule transportation according to customer requirements and the availability of drivers and equipment, optimizing costs associated with equipment relocation for service delivery, and allocating tasks in the Rodopar ERP System (Cargo Scheduling/Tracking); * Daily schedule customer assignments received via email and verbally in the ERP system – Rodopar (Scheduling/Cargo Scheduling); * Issue and verify necessary documentation for transportation execution; * Inform customers about equipment status and any issues encountered en route or with the cargo; * Instruct drivers on important aspects or specific client operational requirements related to the upcoming operation; * Monitor and plan equipment downtime for preventive maintenance based on reports provided by the Logistics Coordinator; * Monitor inventory levels of transported products during the first business hours, as specified in the client's specific requirements; * Conduct follow-up with drivers, shippers, and customers regarding trip progress.
