The **Junior Laboratory Analyst** will be responsible for performing laboratory analyses (physical-chemical and microbiological), preparing materials, and supporting laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and good laboratory practices. They will also perform support and maintenance tasks related to laboratory infrastructure and organization. **Responsibilities and Duties** **In this role, you will be responsible for:** * Conduct routine and non-routine tests and analyses of raw materials, packaging, intermediate products, and finished products according to established methods, focusing on quality control and compliance with technical specifications. * Perform microbiological and physical-chemical analyses of biological pesticides using appropriate laboratory techniques and equipment, such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, microscopes, among others. * Prepare culture media, solutions, and reagents * Support sterilization, inoculation, and pre-inoculum preparation when required * Accurately record analytical data in systems and forms, as required by internal standards and external regulations. * Ensure preparation and dispatch of samples for external analyses per procedure. * Organize and clean the laboratory, being responsible for equipment preservation and maintenance, and committing to the quality and reliability of performed tests. * Maintain defined 5S standards. * Support inventory control of reagents and materials within the laboratory * Ensure all laboratory procedures follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and environmental, health, and safety regulations, and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). * Monitor and support implementation and management of the equipment verification and/or calibration plan according to approved documentation, track service delivery, and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules. * Prepare analysis reports per procedure. * Draft and update detailed technical reports on analysis results, including data interpretation and identification of potential non-conformities. * Contribute to implementing and maintaining quality and safety management systems (e.g., ISO 9001 and ISO 17025), pursuing continuous improvement of laboratory processes. * Manage retention samples (counter-samples) per procedure and leadership guidance. * Ensure compliance with laboratory waste management procedures. * Support leadership and other Laboratory Analysts to ensure laboratory infrastructure, facility requirements, and planned demand. * Upon request, inspect products on the production floor using the corresponding checklist to ensure product quality; * Upon request, collect samples and conduct inspections upon receipt of raw materials and packaging per defined standards, as well as samples from returns or rejected items. * Upon request, conduct quality inspections and audits in operational areas to support product and process quality assurance. * Self-manage activity priorities during shift in coordination with stakeholders to avoid negative impact. * Communicate assertively with leadership and internal customers (especially Production and Logistics). * Contribute to and support initiatives improving procedures, processes, and work tools. * Ensure compliance of activities related to Product Quality and company policies. * Record and report deviations and non-conformities, collaborating in investigation and resolution. **Requirements and Qualifications** **To succeed in this position, it is important to have:** **Required Qualifications:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Biomedicine, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields; * Knowledge of microbiological and physical-chemical analysis techniques; * Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and quality standards; * Knowledge of verification and calibration of analytical equipment; * Willingness to reside in Uberaba/MG. **Desired Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree in microbiological processes or related fields; * Prior experience in a microbiological laboratory of a biopesticide manufacturing facility; * Knowledge of industrial production processes for bioinputs; * Familiarity with analytical techniques such as chromatography and molecular biology techniques, e.g., DNA/RNA identification via qPCR or dPCR. **Additional Information** ***\#vempraVitales*** ***\#ordemdavida*** ***\#grupoUbyagro*** A company in its germination phase, placing biology at the center of everything—including the construction of its brand.
