Job Summary: Professional responsible for cleaning and sanitizing hospital environments, ensuring minimization of infection risks. Key Highlights: 1. Minimize hospital-acquired infection risks 2. Ensure distribution and replenishment of hygiene supplies Perform concurrent and terminal cleaning across all Hospital Units, distribute hygiene and cleaning supplies across floors, replenish them as needed, collect waste from temporary holding areas located on each floor, and transport it to the external holding area for final disposal, aiming to maintain clean and hygienic environments while minimizing hospital-acquired infection risks. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Record concurrent and terminal cleaning activities across all Branch Units, tracking time spent on each activity to compile monthly hygiene indicators; * Distribute hygiene and cleaning supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap, plastic packaging, and cleaning products) to Units according to quantities specified by the Supervisor, ensuring adequate supply; * Check and replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies in the functional cart at the start of each shift to prevent shortages during cleaning tasks and optimize time efficiency. * Perform weekly cleaning of functional carts. * Conduct daily terminal and concurrent cleaning across all Hospital Units per the annual schedule, removing furniture from locations to carry out cleaning; * Perform washing using previously trained techniques on ceilings, walls, furniture, and floors, aiming to maintain a clean environment and minimize hospital-acquired infection risks; * Collect waste from temporary holding areas located on each floor using appropriate carts and transport it to the external holding area for collection companies to remove and dispose of in accordance with legislation; * Sanitize the external holding area with water and disinfectant detergent after waste removal, aiming to maintain the location properly cleaned and organized; * Sanitize collection carts at the end of each shift, aiming to minimize hospital-acquired infection risks; * Comply with Unit regulations and safeguard institutional assets; * Notify the Supervisor in case of equipment malfunction; * Sanitize hygiene supply distribution points within the employee’s sector after completion of each shift; * Use personal protective equipment (PPE). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education; * Prior experience in this role is desirable. **Additional Information** Opportunities available at the **North Central** and **West Sector** locations. SPDM – Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine assumed management of Uberlândia Municipal Integrated Care Units (UAIs) on June 1, 2018, pursuing excellence in public healthcare and commitment to SUS principles. Accordingly, SPDM’s operational and clinical activities across Uberlândia Municipal Health Units span three healthcare service sectors: Central-North Sector and West Sector.
