Join us!** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Technical and Operational Coordination** * Plan, coordinate, and monitor **CAE simulation activities (Crash, Structural, and Safety Systems)** related to automotive safety. * Ensure application of simulation methodologies and best practices (LS-Dyna, HyperWorks, ANSA). * Guarantee that technical results meet performance requirements and global safety standards (FMVSS, ECE, Latin NCAP, IIHS). * Validate and review CAE results prior to release to internal or external customers. * Coordinate integration among simulation, design, physical testing, and experimental validation teams. **Customer Relationship and Alignment** * Serve as the technical-operational focal point for internal customers (Product Engineering, Structures, Automotive Safety) and external customers (OEMs, suppliers, and global centers). * Conduct technical follow-up meetings, results reviews, and milestone planning. * Manage simulation requests, demand prioritization, and status communication. **Team Management** * Lead the CAE analyst team, defining responsibilities, goals, and priorities. * Conduct periodic performance evaluations focused on technical outcomes and behavioral development. * Develop technical training plans on CAE methodologies, simulation tools, and automotive safety trends. * Support technical recruitment processes, participating in interviews and defining job profiles. * Encourage technical growth and team engagement, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. **Resource and Financial Solutions Management** * Monitor operational costs and simulation hours (planned vs. executed). * Propose optimizations of workload, resource redistribution, and automation of routines to reduce costs and increase productivity. * Support management in defining salary adjustments, promotions, and performance-based rewards aligned with technical benchmarks. **KPI and Reporting Management** * Consolidate and report key **CAE area KPIs** to management, including: * Simulation schedule adherence * Technical efficiency (rework rate, result quality, correlation with physical tests) * Productivity (planned vs. actual hours) * Team competency development * Prepare technical performance reports and executive status presentations. **Continuous Improvement and Innovation** * Promote continuous improvement of simulation processes (automation, standardization, digitalization). * Support implementation of new modeling and virtual safety simulation methodologies. * Encourage application of Machine Learning and Digital Twin in CAE analyses. * Ensure the team’s technical updates on global automotive safety trends and CAE tools. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Technical Requirements** * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. * Solid experience in CAE simulations applied to automotive safety (Crash, Airbag, Structures). * Proficiency in tools: LS-Dyna, HyperMesh, ANSA, MetaPost, among others. * Knowledge of safety standards and regulations (FMVSS, ECE, Latin NCAP, etc.). * Experience in project management and technical leadership. * Advanced English (for interaction with global teams and technical reporting). **Behavioral Competencies** * Technical leadership and results orientation. * Planning and priority management. * Clear and assertive communication with customers and team members. * Data-driven and technically grounded decision-making. * Systemic vision and analytical capability. **Additional Information** **What We Offer** * Meal Allowance; * Transportation Allowance or Fuel Allowance; * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Life Insurance; * Childcare Assistance; * Maternity and Paternity Leave; * Wellhub; * OnHappy; * Sesc; At LUZA, you participate in projects that transform industries — with cutting-edge technology, continuous learning, and real opportunities for growth.
