Come join our team as a **GEOMECHANICS TECHNICIAN** **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct daily geomechanical inspections in active mine areas; * Issue shift reports via e\-mail containing collected data and other relevant observations regarding * rock mechanics; * Perform geomechanical mapping using traditional methods (Q, RMR, GSI); * Conduct quality control tests (pull-out/adhesion tests) on cables, rock bolts, Swellex, mesh, * and shotcrete installed in the mine; * Monitor and verify the correct installation of support and containment elements at working faces, * both development and production faces. * Input and update the geotechnical database. * Provide instructions and guidance on containment procedures to the team responsible for * installing containment systems, cables, rock bolts, Swellex, mesh, and shotcrete, as established in * Geomechanics procedures; * Develop containment plans through mapping using AutoCad software; * Perform convergence measurements or readings from geomechanical instrumentation; * Carry out other tasks of similar nature or complexity level associated with your specialty or work environment **Mandatory Requirements:** * Academic qualification (Completed technical education in mining, geology, or geotechnics) * Professional registration (Crea), * Driver's license: B * Experience: 5 years in the role * Knowledge: Geotechnical monitoring (instrumentation, discontinuity mapping, and rock mass stability) * Skills: Ability to perform quality inspections during rock support installation.
