Join us!** **Key Responsibilities and Tasks** The specialist will be responsible for the **development, design, and release of Chassis electronic modules**, **Braking and Steering System controls**, as well as **software and components** across multiple vehicle platforms. They will engage in all stages of the product lifecycle (**cradle to grave**), including: * Program and supplier management * Proactive issue tracking and resolution * Deliverables aligned with automotive program milestones * Preparation of technical specifications and sourcing documents * Issuance of Engineering Change Notices (ECN) * Requirement alignment with cross-functional teams * Development schedule creation * Leadership of component packaging activities * Planning and execution of HW/SW (hardware and software) validation * Development of ECU diagnostics * Conducting HW/SW design reviews * Preparation, review, and approval of FMEAs, DVPRs, and PFMEAs * Definition of process standards and plant calibrations * Support for launches and development of safe launch plans * Identification of quality improvements * Rapid response to warranty issues * Technical cost reductions The role also entails **identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks**, maintaining detailed plans and frequent updates for senior leadership. The specialist will work closely with the **Chassis team** and cross-functional teams in the development and validation of complex systems such as: * ADAS * Powertrain * Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), among others. **Mandatory Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or related fields Driver’s license Category B and availability to **drive and test vehicles** Advanced English proficiency **Preferred Qualifications** Experience in design, development, and release of **automotive ECUs** Familiarity with component release processes in **EBOM, FASTCAR, CODEP, and PLM**; **DFSS certification** (or currently pursuing certification); Knowledge of root cause analysis and DFSS tools: Is / Is Not 5 Whys DMAIC 8D 5-Penny Ishikawa Diagram / Fault Tree Analysis; Familiarity with communication protocols **CAN and LIN**; Experience with Vector tools (**CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela**); Experience with diagnostic tools (**DIAnalyzer, CDA, Diagalyser**); Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and braking systems; Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields; Experience in software development, state machine creation, specifications, and SW debugging. **What We Offer** * Meal Allowance; * Transportation Allowance or Fuel Allowance; * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Life Insurance; * Childcare Assistance; * Maternity and Paternity Leave; * Wellhub; * OnHappy; * Sesc; * Flexible Working Hours.
