Description
**About the opportunity**
MCSA is a law firm specializing in credit recovery and collections. We are currently evolving our data area and need a BI Analyst to transform data into real intelligence for operations and executive leadership.
You will join at a formative stage — where the data infrastructure is being built, offering ample opportunity to contribute both to organizing data sources and delivering intelligence to operations and executive leadership.
A distinctive feature of our environment: in addition to Looker Studio, we use an internally developed BI tool built with Python and React. This means you will work closely with the technical team, with autonomy to propose enhancements—and without relying exclusively on off-the-shelf tools.
**Technical context**
* We work with collections and credit recovery data, involving substantial volume and multiple operational metrics.
* We use Looker Studio and an internally developed BI tool, and you will operate across both environments.
* You will collaborate directly with the data engineering and development teams, within clearly defined and complementary scopes.
* Your primary focus is consumption: dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analyses that guide decision-making.
**Responsibilities**
* **Dashboards and reports:** build and enhance BI dashboards focused on usability, visual clarity, and performance—both in Looker Studio and in our internal tool.
* **Business KPIs:** define, monitor, and evolve metrics such as CPC, campaigns, payments, negotiator performance, and dialer metrics.
* **Analyses and insights:** cross-reference information, identify patterns and anomalies, and translate data into concrete, actionable recommendations for operations.
* **Report auditing:** review existing dashboards, identify inconsistencies, and ensure executive leadership views reliable data.
* **Collaboration with the technical team:** clearly communicate requirements for enhancing the internal BI tool to developers and data engineers.
* **Business communication:** present findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders, transforming numbers into decisions.
* **Security and LGPD compliance:** handle financial and registration data in full compliance with privacy regulations.
**Requirements**
* Experience in BI, including dashboards delivered or in production.
* Intermediate SQL — autonomous data extraction and joins.
* Experience with Looker Studio.
* Familiarity with internally developed BI environments — ability to work closely with technical teams to enhance customized tools and reports.
* Ability to independently define and monitor KPIs.
* Clear communication skills with business units and leadership.
* Knowledge of security best practices and LGPD.
**Nice-to-have**
* Experience in Credit Recovery, Collections, Call Centers, or law firms.
* Familiarity with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL environments.
* Basic understanding of dimensional modeling — knowing how data is structured greatly facilitates the work.
* Experience with BI tools beyond Looker Studio, such as Power BI or Tableau.
* Practical application of data governance.
