**Job Responsibilities** * Operate the sanitary wastewater treatment plant, ensuring proper system functionality. * Monitor and control the inflow and outflow volumes of wastewater. * Perform chemical dosing control during the treatment process. * Inspect and ensure treatment quality, guaranteeing compliance with legal standards and client requirements. * Collect samples, conduct basic laboratory analyses, and report results to headquarters. * Identify, report, and assist in correcting process and/or equipment failures. * Carry out equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance. * Record operational data, complete reports, and maintain up-to-date logs. * Receive, store, and manage inventory of chemicals used in the process. **Education** * Technical degree or undergraduate program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields (completed or in progress). **Professional Experience** * Prior experience in this role is not mandatory. * Experience in wastewater treatment or related areas will be considered a plus. **Assessed Skills** **Technical Knowledge:** * Basic laboratory analyses (pH, COD, BOD, total solids, etc.) * Fundamentals of chemistry applied to wastewater treatment * Safe handling of chemical products **Regulatory Knowledge:** * Environmental best practices * Occupational safety regulations (PPE usage, applicable NRs) * Current environmental legislation **Operational Skills:** * Process monitoring and control * Preventive and corrective equipment maintenance * Basic understanding of hydraulics and pumping system operation **Behavioral Competencies** * Attention to detail and accountability * Organization and discipline * Teamwork * Proactivity * Problem-solving ability **Additional Information** * Shift schedule: **4x4 rotating shift** * 2 days from 07:00 to 19:00 * 2 days from 19:00 to 07:00 * 4 consecutive days off * **Class B driver's license (CNH B) is mandatory** for operating company vehicles within the sanitary landfill. * Owning a personal vehicle will be considered a plus to facilitate access to the worksite. * **Flexible availability of working hours is required**.
