Drive continuous improvement of production processes The **KMI Group** is seeking a **Production Leader** to work in the **galvanizing/zinc coating** area, with **energy, initiative, leadership qualities, and a strong results orientation**. **Responsibilities** * Lead the **galvanizing/zinc coating** department’s operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety * Plan and monitor the flow of parts and materials through the surface treatment process * Ensure adherence to production and delivery deadlines * Control process parameters (chemical baths, time, temperature, current, coating thickness, among others) * Supervise preparation, galvanizing, finishing, and quality inspection stages * Manage chemical inputs, materials, and consumables used in the process * Control inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, rework, losses, and operational efficiency * Lead, train, and develop the operational team * Ensure compliance with **safety, environmental, quality** standards and internal procedures * Directly drive **continuous improvement of production processes** **Requirements** * Proven experience in **electrolytic zinc plating, galvanizing, or surface treatment** * Experience in **managing operational teams** * Knowledge of industrial process control * Experience with production and quality indicators * Planning, organizational, and decision-making capabilities **Preferred Qualifications** * Degree in **Engineering, Chemistry, Production Engineering, Metallurgy**, or a **Technical Diploma in Chemistry/Metallurgy** * Experience in industrial surface treatment environments * Knowledge of environmental regulations and industrial waste disposal * Experience with audits, ISO standards, or quality management systems * Experience in production process improvement projects **Behavioral Competencies** * Leadership and clear communication * Systemic understanding of the production process * Proactivity and sense of urgency * Operational organization and discipline * Results orientation and continuous improvement mindset * Decision-making ability **Job Details** **Employment Type:** CLT **Work Model:** On-site **Location:** Jardim Agua Branca / Contagem **Salary:** R$ 2\.500,00 to R$ 3\.000,00 **Benefits:** * Transportation Allowance (paid in cash) * Meal Allowance R$ 400,00 (Caju card) **Job Type:** Full-time CLT Job Type: Full-time CLT Compensation: R$2\.500,00 \- R$3\.000,00 per month Benefits: * Food basket * Transportation allowance Work Location: On-site
