As a Senior R&M Specialist, the employee will lead and supervise tasks performed by other R&M personnel. **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Participates in all daily operations and safety meetings, toolbox talks, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and promptly reports any issues using appropriate tools. * Maintains equipment, facilities, and work areas in safe and presentable condition. * Repairs machinery, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, winches, cranes, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical/electronic test devices. * Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, piping systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. * Inspects used parts to determine dimensional requirement changes, using rulers, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments. * Assists in, performs, and may lead resolution of basic to complex problems, scheduled preventive maintenance, and modifications across a wide range of electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment—including data acquisition systems and bottom-hole tools—to identify failure causes and implement corrective actions per documented company policies and procedures, according to training level and competence. * Assists in, performs, and may lead testing and calibration tasks for tools, following documented policies and procedures according to training level and competence. * Identifies improvement opportunities related to equipment, procedures, and documentation. * Completes Work Orders (WOs), AIRTs, PFTs, forms, checklists, repair requests, and ensures all relevant databases are accurately maintained. * Complies with WO time recording by correctly logging entry/exit in the WO time-tracking system. * In senior roles, the employee frequently leads the team in performing all responsibilities detailed above. This includes equipment troubleshooting, implementation of corrective actions, and providing access to all documented R&M policies, procedures, work instructions, and technical manuals, enabling the R&M team to perform their work effectively and efficiently. * Ensures all field and workshop personnel follow corrective and preventive maintenance procedures, guaranteeing all failures are tracked to resolution with proper root cause analysis and implementation of pre-defined corrective actions. * Leads the workshop and/or electronic laboratory, defining and assigning work schedules while evaluating quality, competence, and efficiency of work performed through regular inspections to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures. * Requests parts, supplies, or equipment from approved catalogs or suppliers per Weatherford guidelines and procedures. * Supports and complies with LEAN initiatives and participates in the continuous improvement program for facility efficiency. * Estimates repair costs for machinery, equipment, or building structures. Perform other tasks and activities safely as assigned by the supervisor, within the physical limitations of the job. * **Prerequisites:** * Technical or undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
