**Location:** Nova Lima/MG
**Responsibilities and Duties** **Position Description:**
We are seeking a Hardware Supervisor to lead the laboratory and technological preparation unit, focused on advanced telematics solutions, driver fatigue video monitoring systems, and embedded tablets. The professional will be responsible for organizing the assembly workflow, configuring devices, ensuring quality control of field-deployed kits, and managing the internal technical team — guaranteeing all embedded technology is ready for immediate, fault-free installation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Supervise and organize the demand for assembly, configuration, and testing of telematics kits, fatigue cameras, and tablets;
* Manage the technical laboratory’s workflow, setting priorities according to installation schedules and SLAs;
* Validate firmware provisioning, network configurations (APN/Chips), and software management mirroring on tablets;
* Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for wiring harness, mounting bracket, and enclosure assembly;
* Perform technical inventory control (receipts, issues, and cyclic asset inventories);
* Diagnose hardware failures (reverse logistics);
* Monitor delivery quality by conducting bench tests prior to equipment shipment;
* Lead and train the internal technical team, promoting continuous improvement of preparation processes.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:**
* Completed undergraduate or technical degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer), Computer Networks, or related fields.
* Solid experience with telematics hardware, embedded video monitoring, and Android-based systems (tablets).
* Advanced knowledge of automotive electrical systems and electrical schematic interpretation.
* Prior experience leading technical teams or supervising laboratories/infrastructure.
* Proficiency in incident management tools, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for reporting).
* Analytical, organized profile with focus on optimizing production processes.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* In-depth experience with telematics protocols and CAN bus network reading (Heavy-Duty/Light-Duty vehicles).
* Hands-on experience with telematics and fatigue technologies.
* Technical English proficiency for reading international manufacturers’ manuals.
