




Job Summary: The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician (RMET) ensures equipment availability and reliability by combining technical expertise, team leadership, and commitment to continuous improvement. A reference in health and safety practices, training and guiding technicians. **What this role involves:** As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician (RMET), you will be instrumental in ensuring the availability and reliability of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and other critical operational systems. This role combines technical expertise, team leadership, and commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that safety and operational performance standards are maintained at an excellent level. **Your day-to-day responsibilities:** * Serve as a reference in health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies, and monitoring the team to ensure adherence to the same standards. * Perform planned preventive maintenance on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and other site equipment, ensuring high-quality standards and timely completion. * Respond promptly to disruptions and failures, communicating clearly with affected parties and working efficiently to resolve issues and restore operations. * Train and guide shift technicians, sharing specialized knowledge and developing team capabilities. * Support the line manager and supervise the shift in their absence, ensuring operational continuity. * Deliver high equipment availability through proactive problem-solving, effective prioritization, and analysis of metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). * Support continuous improvement initiatives by learning from disruptions and providing standardized feedback and improvement suggestions across the network. * Manage and supervise contracted service providers, ensuring quality and compliance in their deliverables.\[Source: Job Description Template (1\) (1\).docx] **Mandatory Qualifications:** * Technical qualification in Electrical, Electrotechnical, or Electromechanical fields. * Experience in building maintenance. * In-depth knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems for automated equipment. **Desired Qualifications:** * Experience in logistics environments, distribution centers, or highly complex industrial operations. * Leadership skills and ability to train and guide other technicians. * Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems (PLC), and human-machine interfaces (HMI). * Certifications in NR-10 (Electrical Safety in Installations and Services), NR-12 (Safety in Machinery and Equipment Operations), or other applicable regulatory standards.
