Engages in planning, preparation, and monitoring of environmental studies and projects, management of specialized consulting firms, and technical interaction with regulatory agencies. Conducts field inspections, identifies environmental liabilities, and proposes corrective and preventive measures, ensuring environmental compliance and technical support to operational areas. Responsibilities and Duties * Coordinate and oversee environmental licensing processes, ensuring compliance with conditions. * Interact with environmental agencies, submitting plans, studies, and technical defenses. * Conduct field inspections to identify liabilities and propose corrective measures. * Supervise and review studies, reports, and projects prepared by third-party companies. * Plan and develop projects aimed at conservation and mitigation of environmental impacts. * Issue and monitor Technical Responsibility Statements (ART) related to reports and projects under their coordination. * Propose and implement solutions for drainage, control of erosive processes, and reforestation. * Provide technical support to operational and support areas, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and sound environmental practices. * Participate in technical meetings, presentations, and negotiations with stakeholders and regulatory agencies. Requirements and Qualifications * Bachelor's degree completed in Environmental Engineering, Agronomy, Forestry Engineering, Biology, Geography, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental licensing and environmental project management. * Driver's license category B and availability for field activities. * Knowledge of environmental legislation in Minas Gerais and regulatory agencies (SEMAD, FEAM, IGAM, IEF). 2512100202181796805
