Manufacture, repair, and install various pieces and components from metal sheets such as steel, galvanized iron, copper, tin, brass, aluminum, and zinc; fabricate or repair boilers, tanks, reservoirs, and other containers made of steel sheets; cut, shape, and work on profiled bars of ferrous and non-ferrous materials to produce windows, doors, grilles, stained glass, and similar parts. 1\. Interpret technical drawings for metal part development; 2\. Determine materials required for project execution; 3\. Select appropriate machines and tools for the job; 4\. Prepare and arrange for the work area clearance; 5\. Designate storage locations for materials and tools, organizing and maintaining tools and machines; 6\. Layout parts according to project measurements, cutting, straightening, chamfering, grinding, and forming metal parts; 7\. Fabricate templates, squaring, leveling, and securing (using rivets, bolts, spot welding, etc.) metal parts; 8\. Weld parts using brazing; 9\. Perform shielded metal arc welding and oxy\-acetylene welding; 10\. Cut sheets and parts using an oxy\-acetylene torch; 11\. Carry out finishing and cleaning of welds; 12\. Assemble piping systems and metal structures; 13\. Protect metal parts against corrosion by applying specific chemical products and paints for this purpose; 14\.
