Cost control and strategic purchasing planning **Purchasing Analyst** Monday to Friday: 07:00 to 16:45 Salary: To be negotiated **Position Summary:** We are looking for a proactive, communicative Purchasing Analyst with excellent problem-solving skills to join our team. The professional will be responsible for coordinating the company’s entire procurement process for products and services—from supplier research and negotiation to inventory control and delivery assurance. The candidate should possess an analytical profile, focused on cost-effectiveness, and will play a critical role in ensuring all procurements occur within agreed timelines and conditions, thereby maintaining the company’s operational efficiency. **Department Responsibilities:** * **Supplier Research and Selection:** Identify and qualify new suppliers, assess product compatibility with requirements, negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions. * **Demand Analysis:** Evaluate the company’s procurement needs by considering internal demand, current inventory levels, and future projections to ensure adequate supply and avoid unnecessary expenses. * **Purchase Request Management:** Issue purchase orders, monitor delivery progress (follow-up), manage potential returns, and record invoices in the system. * **Cost Control:** Analyze cost-effectiveness of purchases, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and actively participate in the purchasing department’s strategic planning. * **Interdepartmental Coordination:** Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers, internal teams (e.g., Engineering), and management to align requirements and ensure process efficiency. * **Documentation and Financial Support:** Record invoices in the system for payment scheduling, providing direct support to the finance department and ensuring fiscal and procedural compliance. **Requirements:** · Proficiency with spreadsheets and systems (for data entry and purchase scheduling) · Basic knowledge of construction materials or experience selling such materials, or knowledge of civil engineering (desirable) **Benefits:** · Meal voucher R$487.00 Employment type: Full-time, CLT permanent contract Compensation: R$2.300,00 – R$2.400,00 per month Benefits: * Food allowance
