Description
### **Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and qualify new suppliers of components and raw materials for brake systems.
* Evaluate suppliers' technical, production, and financial capabilities.
* Lead cost reduction projects (VA/VE – Value Analysis / Value Engineering).
* Monitor supplier performance indicators (quality, delivery, cost, PPM, OTIF).
* Manage action plans for non-conformities and continuous improvement.
* Support APQP, PPAP, and engineering change processes with suppliers.
* Develop local suppliers for component localization (local content).
* Identify supply chain risks and propose mitigation plans.
* Provide technical support during commercial negotiations.
* Analyze product/process cost (cost breakdown, should-cost).
* Actively participate in RFQs and sourcing strategy definition.
* Conduct technical evaluation of supplier proposals.
### **Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Materials, or related fields).
* Prior experience in supplier development or product/process engineering within the automotive industry.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, stamping, heat treatment, etc.).
* Experience with quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
* Experience in technical negotiations and cost analysis.
* Intermediate/advanced English (preferred).
