If so, join our Manufacturing Engineering team! **Let’s drive connections to create new realities!!!** **Responsibilities and duties** * Plan and execute activities related to the manufacturing processes of optical transceivers, defining production flows, operational parameters, and monitoring production stages to ensure compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, and productivity targets. * Analyze and diagnose failures in electronic boards, optical circuits, and pluggable modules, identifying root causes through testing, process data, and component behavior evaluation, proposing corrective and preventive actions. * Provide technical support to manufacturing, resolving process issues, analyzing deviations, and monitoring production routines to ensure operational continuity and delivery quality. * Identify, propose, and implement process improvements using performance indicators, data analysis, and quality tools, focusing on loss reduction, yield improvement, and optimization of the production flow. * Interpret and apply optical and electronic test scripts, including log analysis, routine automation, and test validation, using languages such as Python or related tools. * Deliver technical training to operational teams, enabling them in manufacturing procedures, equipment operation, inspection practices, and requirements for assembly, alignment, and testing processes. * Collaborate integrally with multidisciplinary areas such as Quality, NPI, R\&D, Maintenance, and Procurement, supporting new product development, process changes, and validation activities. * Actively contribute to process standardization, dissemination of engineering best practices, and strengthening of the continuous improvement culture. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields. * Experience with manufacturing processes, preferably in electronics or high-complexity products. * Advanced experience in electronic board analysis; experience with optical transmission components is desirable. * Practical experience with production processes, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. * Knowledge of electronic and optical test equipment operation, such as BERT, OSA, Power Meter, and oscilloscope. * Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical specifications. * Intermediate knowledge of Python for data analysis, test scripting, and automation. * Intermediate English proficiency. **Additional information** **Benefits of being a \#padtecker:** * Meal and food allowance via Alelo card * Health and dental insurance for you and your dependents * Physical wellness support via Gympass * Birthday day off * Workplace gymnastics * Payroll-deductible loan via Creditas * Childcare allowance / PCD allowance Padtec is a company focused on the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of high-capacity optical communication systems.
