DevOps/SRE Specialist

Description

We have an opening for a ***DevOps/SRE Specialist \- Independent Contractor (PJ), Remote***, with preference for professionals located in the ***Campinas*** region for occasional in-person meetings. **Responsibilities:** * Design AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, and core AWS services. * Manage identity and access via IAM and network configurations (VPC). * Automate infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation. * Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch and related tools. * Develop Bash and Python scripts to optimize operational tasks. * Ensure security and compliance in cloud operations. * Collaborate with teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions. * Support CI/CD and automation processes. * Work with containers and orchestration in cloud-native environments. * Perform other duties associated with the role. **Requirements** * Proven experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch) * Strong foundation in Linux server administration and scripting * Experience automating tasks using Python * Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) * Proficiency in cloud environment troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization * Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery) * Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration * Version control using Git * Experience with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) * Behavioral competencies: proactivity, autonomy, continuous learning, remote and agile collaboration, effective communication, and critical analysis * Employment type: remote, with preference for candidates based in the Campinas region who can attend occasional in-person meetings in São Paulo. **Working Hours:** Flexible (to be agreed upon with the company). **Compensation and Benefits:** Salary expectation \+ Meal Allowance.
