Follow strict food hygiene and safety standards The Legião da Boa Vontade – LBV is hiring an **Industrial Kitchen Assistant**: The **Industrial Kitchen Assistant** is responsible for assisting the chef in food preparation, cooking, and plating, following rigorous food hygiene and safety standards at the Institution's Unit. * Assist in all necessary food preparations. * Operate kitchen equipment and utensils, such as blenders, industrial stoves, etc. * Participate in food pre\-preparation (monitor cooking, adjust seasonings) * Strictly follow food hygiene and safety standards throughout the entire production process. * Assist in kitchen maintenance, organization, and cleaning. * Dispose of food waste appropriately, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. * Perform other food production tasks as directed by the chef. * Use of PPE. **Preferred experience:** In kitchen settings, as a kitchen assistant; * Basic knowledge of food cutting, cooking, and seasoning. * Knowledge and practice of good hygiene practices to ensure food safety. * Ability to work collaboratively and in an organized manner to meet production demands. * Workload: **220 hours per month** * Schedule: **7:00 AM to 4:48 PM** * Monday to Friday **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * On\-site meals; * Life insurance; * Health plan \- after confirmation; * Dental plan \- after confirmation; * SESC partnership; * Discounts at gyms and sports activities \- Wellhub; * Educational partnerships with discounts on courses and universities; * Training and development program.
