The professional will operate extrusion machines that transform raw materials (such as polymers, plastics, rubber, resins, or chemicals) into continuous or molded products. **Main responsibilities:** * Prepare the extrusion machine (adjustments, calibration, heating). * Feed the extruder with raw materials (resins, compounds, granules, etc.). * Monitor temperature, pressure, speed, and other production parameters. * Supervise the extrusion process to ensure product quality. * Perform minor mechanical adjustments during operation. * Replace tools (dies, filters, extrusion nozzles). * Conduct quality tests on the extruded material. * Record production data. * Assist in preventive maintenance of the machine. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
