Capture or remove animals from the roadway or medians using specialized equipment available in operational vehicles and the Animal Removal Truck, acting under direct supervision. Contain and extinguish small fire outbreaks under direct guidance, using specific equipment available in operational vehicles or in the water tanker truck. Inspect works and services occurring within the right-of-way using operational vehicles and the work manual available in patrol units, acting under direct supervision. Monitor oversized loads under direct supervision by operating the service vehicle and reviewing documentation related to the oversized cargo. Inspect the company’s right-of-way by traveling along designated highway sections, identifying ongoing constructions or general services, billboards or signs installed, requesting presentation of authorization granted by the company for service or construction execution, approving them if no irregularities are found, or requesting responsible parties to remove or demolish unauthorized installations, contacting the Supervisor to obtain support for finalizing the process. Conduct or assist in low-complexity operations related to assisting pedestrians in risky situations, fallen signage from ongoing highway construction, removal of fallen road signs located in hazardous zones, taking appropriate actions. Verify that construction, improvement, and maintenance signage on the highway complies with company standards, following previously provided sketches, reporting to superiors to halt work presenting irregularities or operational risks until the situation is resolved or new instructions are received from the OCC (Operational Control Center). Detect potential faults in signage (regulatory, informational, or warning signs) or on the roadway (potholes, damaged barriers, cleanliness, washing), taking photos of the location and forwarding suggestions or information to the OCC, which contacts the responsible departments for analysis and action. Propose improvements to signage, infrastructure, drainage, and roadway safety, submitting them for analysis and validation by the Supervisor. Provide assistance at collisions or minor-impact accidents, collecting information from users/victims, witnesses, and highway police regarding probable causes and conditions of the accident (pothole, missing signage, speeding, water or oil on the road, drunk driver, etc.), recording personal details of drivers and passengers, and details of involved vehicles (license plate, type, tire condition, damages, etc.), assessing damages to company property (metal barriers, concrete barriers, signs), photographing the entire affected area, vehicles, and victims. Provide the OCC with information collected during minor collision responses to integrate into the traffic accident report, ensuring the police report also includes the same information.
