Contributes to optimizing departmental performance Responsibilities * **Job Mission** Responsible for conducting general inspection activities on equipment and machinery at the Cubatão unit, following RTM instructions and performing routine tasks in accordance with established standards and procedures, aiming to ensure plant compliance with NR13 requirements **Responsibilities** * Conduct general inspection activities on equipment at the Cubatão plant through site inspections, assessment of compliance with requirements, identification of inconsistencies, and reporting such findings to the Engineer; * Support external audit engagements, regulatory bodies, and related entities by assisting in information and document gathering and supporting report preparation as instructed; * Support implementation of the defined inspection plan by executing departmental routine activities within established deadlines and coordinating with other departments as required; * Contribute to optimizing departmental performance by identifying and proposing improvements to processes and routines, and by distributing workload among the team; * Update the internal maintenance system to support consolidation of departmental KPIs, providing information regarding performed activities (hours, materials, tools) in accordance with departmental procedures; * Comply with health, occupational safety, and environmental policies and regulations by performing duties aligned with company-defined procedures and observing applicable legislation; * Support monitoring of inspection recommendations and temporary repairs to optimize processes; * Perform and analyze non-destructive testing methods, including liquid penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing, and others; * Conduct inspections of static equipment (pressure vessels, furnaces, tanks, heat exchangers, boilers) and piping; * Apply, understand, and develop the entire Equipment Inspector training program in accordance with INMETRO Ordinance No. 537/2015; * Understand and apply requirements stipulated in INMETRO Ordinances No. 537 and No. 582 for SPIE (In-House Equipment Inspection Services); * Issue inspection reports, Inspection Recommendations (IRs), and equipment remaining life calculations; * Participate in failure analyses of equipment, metallic structures, and piping; * Evaluate welding processes, painting, and thermal insulation; * Assess failure modes, including types and origins of corrosive processes in various construction materials, CST, creep, and weld defects; * Analyze technical documentation of equipment; * Develop inspection procedures; * Shutdown activities – due diligence, authorizations, and inspections; * Apply technical standards and material specifications; * Ensure compliance with current legislation and organizational policies and standards related to health, occupational safety, and environmental protection through proper execution of assigned duties.
