




Job Summary: The Mining Technician – Exploration supports exploration geology activities, including field and core shed support, collaborating with geologists and technicians. Key Highlights: 1. Participates in training and capacity-building programs for technical development. **Summary of Responsibilities:** The Mining Technician – Exploration will be responsible for supporting exploration geology activities, providing operational support in the field and at the core shed. The professional will work alongside more experienced geologists and technicians, contributing to the execution of operational tasks, geological data collection and recording, borehole and sampling supervision — always adhering to operational safety and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support core shed activities, including box receipt, material reconciliation, core photography, core orientation, sampling, and material density determination; * Supervise and monitor diamond and rotary-percussion drilling activities; * Conduct trench and soil sampling in the field according to the methodology defined by the technical team; * Accompany geologists during geological mapping and sampling activities; * Record operational data and relevant information in spreadsheets, logs, or databases; * Support the organization of materials and activities related to exploration geology; * Collaborate with the geology team, technicians, and other professionals involved in operations; * Strictly comply with safety, occupational health, and environmental protection regulations; * Participate in training and capacity-building programs focused on technical development in exploration geology. **Required Qualifications:** * Technical diploma in Mining, Geology, or related fields; * Knowledge of mining and geology concepts; * Commitment to safety standards applicable to mining operations. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Driver’s license (Category B); * Strong communication skills for information recording and team interaction; * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. **Additional Information:** * Work schedule: 19 days on / 9 days off; * Transportation, accommodation, and meals provided by the company. **About the Company:** G Mining Ventures (GMIN) is a gold mining company focused on acquiring, developing, and operating precious metals projects.
