Description
Provide direct support to the ophthalmologist during consultations, examinations, and procedures; organize materials and medical records; guide patients on initial instructions; and ensure efficiency and quality in ophthalmological care. Prepare examination rooms, testing rooms, and ophthalmological equipment. Assist physicians during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures. Instruct patients on preparations and pre- and post-examination instructions. Accompany patients through internal workflows (triage, examinations, follow-up visits, discharge). Record information in physical medical records and digital systems. Perform ophthalmological tests and examinations under supervision (when qualified). Organize materials, supplies, and equipment used in procedures. Monitor expiration dates and storage conditions of materials. Maintain hygiene, safety, and proper preservation of clinical instruments and environments. Serve patients courteously, respecting humanization protocols. Comply with biosafety standards, LGPD regulations, and clinical protocols. Support triage, referrals, and integration with medical and nursing teams. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service efficiency. Adhere to company policies, processes, and internal guidelines, including the Code of Conduct and established Quality standards. Maintain confidentiality of internal information whenever required, as well as information specific to each role, ensuring data, document, and organizational procedure confidentiality. Support other departmental and institutional activities as needed, contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives.
