You will be hired under a full-time CLT employment contract for fully remote work, regardless of pandemic status. The company was founded 13 years ago as a startup and today employs approximately 240 people, including 25 technical staff directly involved in development—not counting business, product, and related departments. Growth remains strong due to its leadership in the beauty e-commerce segment, which remains resilient amid economic downturns. Whether you are just starting your career or already experienced, you can: * Design and evolve a modern backend based on Java SE 11 or 14, Kotlin, Groovy, comprising over 50 microservices and RESTful APIs, applying best practices and exploring new ways to handle tens of millions of requests per day; * Work with technologies such as Spring Boot, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Redshift, RabbitMQ, Spark, and ElasticSearch, among others; * Learn continuously and overcome new challenges! **Why you should apply for this position:** * Opportunity to work at a technology-driven company unafraid to experiment—and one that supports your growth in the area you care about most, such as search optimization, recommendation systems, Big Data, etc.; * Help shape newly forming and evolving squads to meet growing business demands at a company recognized by Oracle as one of the most innovative e-commerce platforms in Latin America—with nearly two hundred JVMs supporting operations; * You will be hired under a CLT contract (with salary ranging from R$ 4\.000 to R$ 16\.000 depending on evaluation), plus health and dental insurance, life insurance, meal allowance, food allowance, and an annual bonus of 2 to 4.5 monthly salaries, depending on your salary level and performance; REQUIREMENTS * Team-oriented mindset, commitment, and hands-on attitude; * Ability to rapidly learn emerging technologies by consuming books, technical documentation, videos, or talks in English; * Strong object-oriented programming skills and mastery of Java SE 11 and its core APIs (java.lang, Collections, streams, etc); **Some desirable qualifications include:** * Proficiency with Java SE 14 and later versions; * Expertise in RESTful architectures and APIs built with the Spring platform; * Deep applied knowledge of messaging systems; * Practical experience scaling services to handle hundreds of millions of requests per day; * Experience with diverse data persistence and caching solutions; * Knowledge of security principles; * Familiarity with cloud platforms, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation in general.
