Essential Technical Requirements:** * **Manufacturing Industry Experience:** Mandatory knowledge of processes involving **Foams,** **Rubber (vulcanization/extrusion)** or **Plastics (injection/extrusion)**. * **Cost Engineering:** Ability to calculate raw material costs, machine cycle times, and labor costs for pricing. * **Automotive Sector:** Familiarity with quality standards and basic documentation (**PPAP, FMEA**) and **ISO/TS 16949\.** * **Engineering Drawing Interpretation:** Proficiency in technical drawings and CAD tools. Ability to draft sketches or basic machining drawings. **2\. Behavioral Profile:** * **Hands-on Profile:** Professional who moves between the office and the shop floor to oversee testing; preference for candidates with shop-floor background. * **Resilience and Negotiation Skills:** Ability to negotiate priorities with Production and deadlines with Sales. * **Sense of Urgency:** Full focus on meeting sample schedule deadlines. * **Follow-up:** Support tooling departments during mold, die, and fixture construction and machining processes. **3\. Suggested Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or Materials) or **Technical Diploma in Plastics/Rubber**, with substantial hands-on experience. * Preference for senior technical professionals who may eventually coordinate the development department.
