As a **Senior Generator Engineer**, your key responsibilities will include: * Sizing and validation of synchronous generators (hydro and turbo); * Technical specification of excitation and voltage regulation systems; * Participation in Design Reviews and approval of technical documents; * Technical support for commercial proposals and analysis of customer specifications; * Interface with manufacturing, field assembly, and suppliers; * Development and updating of electromagnetic and thermal calculation methods; * Technical guidance to Design Engineers and Drafters; * Oversight of factory tests and field commissioning. **We expect you to have the following qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. **We seek candidates with the following technical skills:** * Experience with synchronous generators (hydro and/or turbo); * Electrical, magnetic, and thermal sizing of rotating electrical machines; * Knowledge of static and rotating excitation systems; * Applicable IEC standards for generators (IEC 60034\); * Electromagnetic finite element analysis (FEA/FEM); * Reading and interpretation of technical drawings and electrical specifications; * Tools: Ansys, Mathcad, Matlab — NX is desirable; * Advanced English (interface with international ANDRITZ teams).
