The Legião da Boa Vontade – LBV is hiring an **Operational Assistant**: The **Operational Assistant** is the professional who supports the overall operation of the unit, that is, in all non-technical activities as needed. **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform maintenance services for the property, furniture, facilities, and utensils that do not require specialized labor; * Assist in organizing internal furniture and equipment; * Operate the Institution's vehicle for its activities, according to the manager's instructions; * Assess maintenance and material needs; indicate or arrange technicians for the job; * Make purchases when necessary and/or requested; * Collect donations offered to the Institution; * Ensure the preservation and cleanliness of the vehicle and report maintenance and repair needs; * Assist with cleaning tasks when necessary; * Manage the preservation, storage, recovery, and removal of equipment, furniture, and utensils in use or out of service; **Requirements and qualifications** Complete Elementary Education; Required: **Class B Driver's License (CNH B)**; Previous experience in minor building maintenance is desirable. **Additional information** * Workload: **220 hours per month** * **Schedule: 07:40 AM to 5:30 PM** * **Monday to Friday** **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * Meal on site; * Health plan – after confirmation; * Dental plan – after confirmation; * SESC membership; * Discounts on gyms and sports activities – **Wellhub**; * Life insurance; * Training and development program. Responsible for working in the boiler-making process, performing as main activity assembly/adjustment/tack welding of parts (hydraulic piping or tanks, base) from all product lines and other similar activities. **Responsibilities and duties** Complete the daily safety inspection of your workstation, carrying out requested inspections and reporting any irregularities. Read and interpret internal standards, procedures, specifications, and general instructions related to the product and the activity to be performed. Perform your tasks according to established internal standards (Safety, Quality, and Productivity), ensuring your own physical integrity as well as that of your coworkers. Move parts using an overhead crane or hoist to position them in a way that ensures the safety of employees during task execution. Whenever in doubt, consult safety standards and procedures, or request assistance from a more experienced colleague or the technical support team. Perform layout markings and dimensional checks according to the product documentation, assemble parts as specified, and adjust them if there are shape or position deviations. Use templates and necessary devices to meet component positioning specifications. Operate a manual torch to make adjustments when necessary on parts being assembled. Perform tack welding on structures (lower complexity/criticality) and secure them to prevent dimensional variation during part handling, preparing the piece for complete welding. Clean and maintain machines, equipment, or work areas to keep them in perfect operating and usable condition. Read and interpret standards, procedures, specifications, drawings, measuring instruments, or general instructions regarding the activities to be performed. Exercise self-control in each operation or task, observing established quality parameters, inspection frequency, and expected results as described in operational standards, evaluating visually or through measuring equipment, and recording obtained results.
