We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team on a challenging regulatory project at a traditional bank. This project aims to implement innovations that strictly comply with regulatory requirements, ensuring all deadlines and stipulations are met. If you possess a strong background in mainframe development and a passion for financial solutions, this is your opportunity to contribute to an important and meaningful project. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain programs using COBOL and CopyBook, ensuring solutions align with regulatory project needs. Design and optimize screens and interfaces to meet functional and usability specifications. Collaborate with other developers and project teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Perform testing and validation of programs to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings and provide progress updates on tasks, helping to maintain delivery timelines. Apply your financial domain knowledge to ensure developed solutions comply with industry practices. Prerequisites: Solid experience as a Mainframe Developer, with a track record in financial and regulatory projects. Proficiency in COBOL, CopyBook, programs, and interfaces (screens). Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with deep understanding of the financial sector. Preferred: experience with VB6 for minor interface adjustments.
