This person will be responsible for process development, diagnostics, conservation, and repairs of hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment and components across the company’s equipment, vehicles, and machinery—ensuring maximum safety, quality, timeliness, and appropriate cost-efficiency. **Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician** **Area of Operation: Forest Equipment Maintenance Coordination** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform maintenance processes on forest operation machinery, vehicles, and equipment—including harvesters, forwarders, yard loaders, self-propelled sprayers, convoy trucks, muck trucks, tractor units, trailers, flatbeds, pickup trucks, power generators, and trailers, among others; * Ensure field maintenance routines follow technical guidelines provided by the Maintenance Engineering department. Key related processes include: * Preventive maintenance (inspections and re-tightening); * Predictive maintenance; * Lubrication; * Machine washing; * Support vehicles for operational modules; * Allocation of the maintenance team according to demand; * Disposal of maintenance waste; * Tool control and replenishment for mechanics; * Maintenance documentation workflows; * Maintenance labels. * Conduct advanced diagnostics on hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems through interpretation of diagnostic codes and technical schematics in manuals, using specialized tools; * Follow guidance, procedures, and technical instructions provided by the Engineering and Services area via training sessions or technical materials to ensure correct application of knowledge and proper equipment maintenance; * Collaborate with the Engineering department in developing parts, supplies, services, and equipment—conducting field tests and statistical monitoring to drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and increased operational safety; * Analyze equipment failures and propose improvements; * Conduct Level 1 quality assessments of maintenance processes; * Perform adjustments and calibrations on hydraulic systems and onboard computers using access codes and specialized knowledge—improving equipment performance and operational availability; * Ensure accurate logging of maintenance activities to guarantee proper resource allocation and generation of performance indicators; * Promote workplace safety culture by applying safety tools and information to foster a safer and healthier environment for all employees and partners. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We Expect From You:** * Technical diploma in Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields; * Proven experience in maintaining forest machinery, trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); * Brazilian driver’s license, Category B; * Proactivity; * Self-discipline; * Interpersonal skills. * **Note: Submission of official Technical Course Completion Certificate (Diploma) is mandatory.** **Work Modality:** * On-site work in Eunápolis-BA; * Work locations: forest operation fronts, maintenance center, forest hub, and partner workshops. **Additional Information** **Benefits** * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Christmas basket * Payroll-deducted loans * Workplace gymnastics * Private pension plan * Variable compensation program * On-site cafeteria * Life insurance * Company-provided transportation * Meal allowance **Selection Process Stages (all stages are eliminatory):** * Candidate profile assessment via Gupy platform; * Behavioral profile assessment; * HR interview; * Technical interview with manager.
