We are seeking an **Expert Backend Developer with a focus on Kotlin**, possessing strong technical maturity and the ability to influence medium- and long-term architectural decisions. This role has a direct impact on the evolution of AI Engineering platforms and operates cross-functionally with various technology teams. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead complex technical initiatives, owning the full software development lifecycle—from architectural conception through deployment and production operations. * Serve as the technical reference for the team and other squads, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, security, and resilience in services such as BFFs, comm\-hubs, and strategic APIs. * Define and evolve backend architectures, evaluating technical trade\-offs, operational risks, and long-term impacts on AI Engineering platforms. * Establish and disseminate engineering best practices, including TDD/BDD, clean code, DDD, structured code reviews, and high coverage of automated tests. * Actively participate in production system operations and maintenance, focusing on observability, root cause analysis, incident prevention, and continuous improvement. * Influence technical decisions alongside product, data, platform, and architecture teams, translating business needs into scalable and sustainable technical solutions. * Support the technical development of team engineers, promoting skill growth and maturity in software engineering. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Proven advanced experience in backend development using Kotlin or Java, leveraging frameworks such as Spring Boot in high-scale environments. * Strong expertise in microservices and BFF architecture, including API versioning, integration patterns, resilience, scalability, and asynchronous communication. * Solid experience with multi-level test automation (unit, integration, contract) to ensure delivery reliability and security. * In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases—such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra—with emphasis on consistency, performance, and availability. * Robust hands-on experience with messaging and streaming systems—including Kafka, SQS, and SNS—in high-volume scenarios. * Proficiency in observability practices, including metrics, structured logging, distributed tracing, and SLI/SLO definition. * Practical experience in cloud environments (preferably AWS), using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and mature CI/CD pipelines. * Advanced knowledge of application security, including authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2\), encryption, and secure-by-design practices. * Consistent experience in agile environments, with a DevOps mindset, technical ownership, and a focus on operational efficiency. * Prior experience with complex platforms, system integrations, or mission-critical digital products. **Additional Information** **Here, we are \#OrangeBlood!** We have been in the market for 17 years, side by side with our clients, delivering transformative experiences.
