As a **Mechanical Technician I**, your main responsibilities will include: * Preparing technical reports; * Performing dimensional adjustments and tolerancing on mechanical parts; * Assembling and disassembling rotating and reciprocating equipment; * Replacing packing glands, mechanical seals, and gaskets; • Cutting sheets using oxy-fuel cutting equipment, grinders, and electrode welding; • Assembling and adjusting bearings; * Performing conversational and laser alignment between shafts. We are looking for candidates with the following **competencies**: * Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings • Basic computer skills • SAP (desirable) • Knowledge of measurement (Metrology) * Mechanical seals We expect the following **qualifications**: * Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance/Mechanical Engineering—or a technology degree in related fields; * Preferred: vocational training in the field.
