This person will be responsible for performing and monitoring nursery quality controls, following technical recommendations, operational procedures, and environmental controls. **Position: Nursery Monitor II** **Area of Responsibility: Seedling Production Coordination** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures; * Determine rooting percentage through measurements during the first selection to assess seedling survival rate; * Dispatch high-quality seedlings to internal planting fronts or the Forest Producer Program (PPF), ensuring no mixing of genetic material; * Stay updated on seedling production through daily, monthly, and annual monitoring to carry out operations aligned with demand; * Monitor correct fertilizer application whenever necessary, per operational procedures; * Monitor pesticide application to achieve optimal results; * Oversee maintenance of nursery equipment and infrastructure to ensure smooth operational routines; * Monitor quality control activities throughout the seedling production process, adhering to technical standards, controls, and operational procedures; * Perform seedling quality control by monitoring pests and diseases to minimize chemical pesticide use; * Collect foliar and nutrient solution samples for nutritional assessment of nursery seedlings and mini-cuttings; * Ensure all processes remain aligned with operational procedures and technical recommendations through predefined quality control; * Maintain optimal conditions of the fertigation system, pesticide application equipment, and input inventory via regular inspections. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We Expect From You:** * Technical degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Administration, Environmental Science, or related fields; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Experience in seedling production processes; * Experience in silvicultural processes; * Proactivity; * Self-discipline; * Teamwork; * Interpersonal skills; * Valid driver’s license (minimum Category B). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Christmas bonus * Payroll-deductible loans * Workplace gymnastics * Private pension plan * Variable compensation program * On-site cafeteria * Life insurance * Company-provided transportation * Meal allowance * Gympass **Selection Process Steps (all steps are eliminatory):** * Profile assessment of the candidate registered on the Gupy platform; * Behavioral profile assessment; * HR interview; * Technical interview with the manager.
